ALDI Stores Limited has applied for a premises licence allowing alcohol to be sold at its store in Lower Gornal.

The application has been submitted to Dudley Council’s licensing authority for the Aldi store at Zoar Street, Lower Gornal, Dudley, DY3 2PA.

If granted, the licence would allow alcohol to be sold for customers to take away from the premises between 6am and midnight, seven days a week.

The application relates solely to off-sales of alcohol.

This means any alcohol bought at the store would be for consumption away from the site, rather than in a bar, restaurant or other drinking area.

The notice can be viewed on the Public Notice Portal via: publicnoticeportal.uk

Anyone wishing to comment must make a written representation to the council by September 29.

Representations should be sent to the Director of Development and Regulation, Housing and Assets, Licensing, Dudley Council, Lister Road Depot, Dudley, DY2 8JW.

The application will be considered by Dudley Council after the representation period closes.
