Plans for a beer garden at a Romsley pub have been given the green light despite opposition from councillors and residents.
An application from The Sun Inn to convert part of their car park into a garden was approved by Bromsgrove district council planning committee on Monday.
The decision is likely to anger some residents who opposed the scheme claiming it would create an unwanted increase in traffic congestion and noise.
Hunnington parish council also expressed concern over the effect of floodlights which will be placed in trees around the garden.
When complete the facility will hold a capacity of more than 50 and will include a brick pergola.
