A HALESOWEN sports and social club is having a pink party to raise cash for Breast Cancer this weekend.
Somers Sports and Social Club, Grange HIll, is kicking off the fun on Saturday at 10am with raffles, drinks, cakes and nail art.
And one of the club staff, Liam Parkinson, aged 19, is going to be the star attraction after announcing he is going to have his legs waxed at the event to raise cash for charity.
Joanne Bamford, who runs the Somers Sports and Social club, said: ”We did a coffee morning last month for MacMillan so we thought that this month we would do the Pink Parties.”
“The club almost closed earlier this year but we took it over the end of June and are turning it around we have built a new bar and will reopen the function room which should be fantastic.
