HALESOWEN CC’s bid to avoid relegation from Birmingham League Division One suffered a blow when they lost by seven wickets at Leamington.
Shalith Warnapura top scored with 28 but was one of only five players to reach double figures as Hales were skittled out for just 110 in 26.4 overs.
Skipper Mo Ishtiaq then removed home opener Lee Hopkins for a duck, before Alex Higgins (41 not out) and Tom Lewis (39) set their team on course for victory.
Leamington reached the target in 22.1 overs.
This weekend could prove vital as 11th placed Hales entertain basement boys Coventry and North Warwickshire, while 10th placed Stratford go to West Bromwich Dartmouth.
