Open letter to Vale Retail, Mayfair, London.

As you are owners of the Halesowen Shopping Centre, I wish to raise the condition of the taps in the gents’ toilet.

I have been into the Centre Manager's office twice now to be told that new taps are on order but nothing happens.

On Tuesday July 27 of the five taps, one had no cap, one was working adequately, one didn't work, one was wobbly, and the fifth one had a restricted flow. This has been the situation for weeks.

Surely it's unsatisfactory. We are regularly told to wash our hands but the means of doing so are virtually non-existent.

There seems to be no hurry to get the taps fixed.

It's interesting to note and a sign of the times, that the toilets are not, as I'd assumed, public toilets but customers' toilets.

As I understand it, they are funded from the rents which the shopkeepers pay to you. We have been told for years that the private sector is more efficient than the public sector.

If so, this is a pretty poor example, week after week, the taps don't work properly. Isn't it also a health hazard?

Incidentally, your web-ite shows the above address but Companies House shows an address in Leamington Spa. Are these the same company?
