A car crash in Dudley this morning has left one man in hospital.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Dudley Southern Bypass between Cinder Bank and Russells Hall Hospital at 8.15am this morning (Sunday).
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and an incident support officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “The man, believed to be in his 30s, suffered a serious leg injury in the crash and was trapped in the car for a period.
“Crews worked with the fire service at the scene to carefully extricated the man from the car whilst he received treatment for his injury.
“The man was immobilised with a neck collar, spinal board and leg splint before being taken by land ambulance a short distance to nearby Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
