MUSICIANS are being sought to hit the right note for a free "concert in the park" in Cradley Heath.
The concert is taking place in Haden Hill Park on Sunday August 22.
It is being organised by staff at the nearby Haden Hill House who are looking for local musical talent to showcase their acts at the concert.
Sandwell Council Cabinet member for improvement and efficiency Cllr Mahboob Hussain said: "We are looking for local bands and singers from schools, colleges or just young people who live in the area."
Cllr Hussain said it is free for bands to play at the event.
"It would be great if they could bring their friends and families along on the day to join in the fun," he added.
Anyone wanting to enter their band or themselves in the event or find out more details should ring the museum on 01384 569444.
The concert starts at 12noon and runs until 6pm. Entrance for the general public is free and food and drink will be available in the park.
