The Halesowen Scout Band have made a triumphant return to competition this Autumn winning awards for its musicianship and marching.
The Halesowen District band have had a period of recruiting and building to regain the skills necessary to be succesful in contesting.
The bandmaster Paul Wong said "its a fantastic way to return to contests, we're now looking forward to the national championships with high expectations"
The National Championships of the Traditional Youth Marching Band Association take place on Sunday, November 21 in Cannock.
Halesowen Scout Band are looking for new members and should anyone wish to join or would like more information they can email halesowenscoutband@live.co.uk to make contact with the band staff.
