BADMINTON is making a comeback in Oldbury and Rowley after a brand new sporting scheme was launched.
Sandwell Leisure Trust and Badminton England is offering new sessions designed for people who want to play the high speed racquet sport.
Coaches will be on hand to offer tips and skills practices.
The badminton sessions take place at Oldbury College of Sport, Pound Road, on Mondays between 6pm and 7pm between January 17 and April 4 and at Heathfields School, Wrights Lane, Cradley Heath on Wednesdays between 6pm and 7pm from January 26 until April 6.
A Sandwell Trust spokesman said: “As an added incentive anyone who attends 5 sessions will receive a free ticket to the All England Badminton Championships at the NIA, Birmingham on March 7 to March 13 “For more information please contact the Sport and Physical Activity Team on 0121 506 4980.”
