A POLICE are clamping down on yobs in Hayley Green and Cradley South in a bid to cut down anti-social behaviour. Sergeant Wendy Tyler from the Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Our next priority is anti-social behaviour problems in Huntingtree Park and the boulevard off Meadowbrook Road as these are historically hot spot areas especially on weekend evenings.
“We will step up visible patrols in these areas and proactively encounter groups and work in partnership with youth services to resolve issues.
And the police have promised to tackle speeding on the A456 Hagley Road.
Sgt Tyler said: “We will assess the road and look into putting measures in place to reduce speed in addition to the current ones and conduct random pro-laser speed checks.
“We will also work in partnership with Dudley council to address road safety issues.”
