Staff and pupils at a Sandwell primary school are celebrating getting a top award for the fourth time.
It has been given to Rowley Hall Primary and Children's Centre in Windsor Road.
The basic skills quality award is in recognition of its improving standards, practice and performance in relation to the teaching of the basic skills in literacy and numeracy.
A delighted headteacher Lynda Townsend said: "This is a great boost for the school.
"A lot of hard work has gone into achieveing this and I must congratulate the pupils and staff for their efforts.
"I must also congratulate parents and governors for their support."
Cabinet member for children and families Cllr Bob Badham said: "It is vital that our young children get a good, sound grounding in both literacy and numeracy.
"Clearly the school has good practices in place as shown by the fact that it is the fourth time they have won this award."
