A Rowley Regis school hall was tunred into a pizza parlour for a day as pupils competed for a share of £5,000 in a healthy cooking challenge.
Rowley Hall Primary School took part in the BIG Cookathon, organised by the national healthy cooking programme, Let’s Get Cooking, making healthier option pizzas.
The school linked the event to the Olympics and every class had a country to support, The pizzas were decorated in the colour of their designated country’s flag. Bunting, hats and flags were also made to decorate the school.
The schools that most impress will win a share of the prize money.
