A FOURTH charity football match organised by two Halesowen brothers will kick off next month.
Children and adults are invited to enter the five-a-side competition at Goals Soccer Centre, Blackheath, on Sunday June 19.
The fundraiser is being organised by Gurcharan and Herjinder Bhujhangy and proceeds will go to CLIC Sargent, which supports children with cancer.
The tournament will be a in a traditional group and then knock-out format, where teams will be guaranteed at least an hour’s play – more if they successfully qualify for the knockout stages.
The brothers started fundraising in memory of their father Dalbir Khanpur Bhujhangy who died from a heart attack in 2008 and was the inspiration and founder of the world’s longest running Bhangra band, The Bhujhangy Group, from Smethwick.
