THE Mayor of Dudley is inviting people to attend his civic carol service.
Councillor Dave Tyler is hosting the event at St Mary’s Church, Kingswinford, on Thursday, December 7.
Starting at 7.30pm, the service will comprise of the Festival of Five Lessons and carols.
The church choir will lead the hymns, with help from children’s choirs from St Mary’s C of E Primary School and Dudley Performing Arts.
Refreshments will be served at the church hall at the end of the service.
Councillor Dave Tyler, Mayor of Dudley, said: “This special service for Christmas is always a popular and joyous event and I would like people to come and join us.
“I would like to thank the members of St Mary’s Church who have welcomed us and allowed us to host the event. I would also like to thank St Mary’s School and Dudley Performing Arts for supporting us on the evening with their choirs.
“May I take this opportunity to wish the residents of Dudley borough a very happy Christmas and season’s greetings.”
