A DUDLEY man has been jailed for 20 weeks for ignoring a driving ban.

Craig Terrence Stanway, aged 32, of Wellington Road, was caught driving while disqualified on July 14 and November 8.

He was also sentenced for driving without insurance on July 19 and November 8, damaging a police vehicle in Tipton on November 8 and stealing items, including ladders, in Wombourne on November 15.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay compensation of £80 and a £115 victim surcharge.

The following also appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between November 27 and 30:

Justin Thomas Foxall, aged 32, of Union Street, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for stealing a rucksack and bank card in Stourbridge on October 12 and a wallet and bank card in Stourbridge on September 13. He was also sentenced for committing fraud on October 12 and November 12 by using the stolen bank cards to purchase cigarettes. Foxall also stole money and confectionary, worth £1,000, from Stourbridge Junction train station on June 1 and was fined £50 for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on November 24, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £357 and a victim surcharge of £85.

Julian Probyn, aged 32, of Kingsway, Wollaston, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for stealing various items from shops in Stourbridge, Lye and Norton between October 26 and November 27. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man in Stourbridge on November 3. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Luke Gregory, aged 28, of Langstone Road, Russells Hall, was fined £225 for causing £180 worth of damage to a vehicle in Dudley on December 23, 2016. He must pay £180 compensation and a victim surcharge of £30.

Harnek Singh, aged 41, of Weaver Close, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for intentionally touching a woman, aged 16 or over, when she did not consent, in Dudley on June 16 and 25. The touching was of a sexual nature. He must carry out 60 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £300 and £1,000 court costs. Singh must also register with police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003, for five years.

Carl David Wagner, aged 31, of William Street, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in Brierley Hill, on July 13. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man in Brierley Hill on September 23. He must pay compensation of £100 and £135 court costs.

Blake Blakesley, aged 21, of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for possessing cannabis in Amblecote on July 24. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £185 court costs.

Sophie Carr, aged 20, of Stourbridge Road, Lye, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for causing £250 worth of damage to a door in Heron Foods, Dudley, on November 3. She was also sentenced for allowing herself to be carried in or on a vehicle in Blackheath on June 13, knowing that had been taken without the consent of the owner. She must pay compensation of £250, £200 court costs and a victim surcharge of £20.

Josh Paul Haden, aged 23, of Severn Road, Colley Gate, was fined £150 for assaulting a police officer in Halesowen on November 15. He must pay compensation of £50, a £30 victim surcharge of £135 court costs.

Benjamin Charles Vance, aged 36, of Lyndsey Place, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £16.87, from WH Smiths and two books, worth £22.98, from Waterstones, Brierley Hill, on October 4. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £350 court costs.

John Paul Gavin, aged 33, of Musk Lane, Lower Gornal, was fined £160 for stealing items, worth £108.53, from Spar, Lower Gornal, on September 26 and October 22. He must pay compensation of £108.53, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Joshua Spencer Bigland, aged 28, of Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, was fined £120 for drink driving in Halesowen on November 17. When tested, he had 43mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified form driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Jack William Wilde, aged 22, of Wynall Lane, Wollescote, was fined £180 for causing £450 worth of damage to a number of household items in Oldbury on September 9. He must pay compensation of £450 and a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.
