BLACK Country folk can turn back the clock and mark the centenary of the Armistice by attending a concert which is being staged at Stourbridge Town Hall on November 2

The theatrical production is being produced by SSAFA, the armed forces charity who will be taking a nostalgic look back at the atmosphere and sounds of the time.

Cast members will be dressed in authentic costumes and uniforms while performing songs and acts that would have featured in music halls 100 years ago.

The show will also pay tribute to the people who survived The Great War and for the ones who didn't come home.

Members of the West Midlands North branch of SSAFA will be taking part in the event and they have appealed for local regimental associations to provide standard bearers for the show which is entitled 'Time to Remember'.

If any associations can help, they are asked to contact 07516 402857.

Tickets for the show cost £12 and can be obtained by contacting the box office on 01384 812812.

All proceeds from the concert will be used locally to support the needs of service, ex servicemen and women and dependent families.
