THE family of a woman who died after being hit by a motorcycle in Oldbury have paid tribute to their much-loved mother and grandmother.

Bernice Evans, aged 70, was crossing the road with two family members at around 8.35pm on April 10, when she was knocked down on the Wolverhampton Road in Oldbury.

Her family said: “Our beautiful mother and grandmother was taken so suddenly and tragically and definitely too soon. It’s left a huge hole in our family but Bernice Evans will never be forgotten by her family and friends. It’s one of the hardest things we have had to go through as a family, but her memories will forever live on in our hearts."

Inspector Stephen Radford, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this collision to come forward, particularly if anyone has any dash-cam footage.

“We spoke with two motorcyclists at the scene and they are both helping police with enquiries."
