THE work of a budding young photography enthusiast is being showcased at Himley Hall after a MP was wowed by the teen's snaps.

Alan Momori, aged 14-years-old, contacted his MP, Dudley South's Mike Wood, to seek his help in finding a place to exhibit his latest shots of Fens Pool Nature Reserve.

Mr Wood met with Alan and was so inspired by the youngster's talent, that he vowed to find a place in the borough to host Alan's work.

After meeting with chiefs at Dudley Council, the team at Himley Hall agreed to exhibit Alan's latest photo collection.

Mike Wood said, “Like Alan, I too have a passion for photography, and I was simply blown away by his wonderful shots of the Fens Pool, which we are all extremely proud of.

“Alan’s photographs bring the Fens Pool to life in such a brilliant way and I was immensely impressed that he took the initiative to ensure his work could be displayed for the public to view.

“I am very pleased that Dudley Council agreed to display Alan’s work at Himley Hall as part of a joint exhibition with another youngster, showing we have some extraordinarily talented artists of the future."

He added: “Anybody enjoying a walk around Himley Hall this week, please do pop in for a coffee and to see Alan’s work.”
