THE body of man has been found in Netherton Reservoir following a police search for a missing person.
Police recovered the body today (January 7) after the reservoir on Highbridge Road was sealed off while the search took place.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious, a police spokesperson said.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "Police searching for a missing person around Netherton Reservoir, Dudley have today [January 7] recovered a body.
"The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and his family and the coroner have been informed."
A heavy police presence has been based at the beauty spot since January 6.
A section of the reservoir was cordoned off by police tape and a police tent was also set up while the water was searched.
