STORM Dennis has lashed parts of the region, inlcuding Kinver, with more than a month’s worth of rain in 48 hours.

Videos show KCSA community centre, flooding on Stag Fields, and resident's back gardens next to the River Stour by the Vine Pub (Mill Lane).

Roads and railways were flooded on Sunday morning after torrential downpours and high winds caused by the second storm in just over a week.

Police said they are currently dealing with large amounts of flooding across the force area.

A spokesman said: "Please do not ignore road closures, they are there for your safety. To help us out please only use 999 in an emergency and where possible report crime online."

Relief from Storm Dennis is still some distance away, a Met Office spokesman said, adding that “heavy rain and strong winds” would continue across large parts of the UK.
