A STOURBRIDGE man has been disqualified from driving for 28 months after drink driving on Lavender Lane.

Thomas Linford, aged 31, of Shenstone Avenue, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to drink driving with 119 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, during a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court. He received a community order and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 28 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation, a surcharge and costs totalling £890.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.

Sebastian Onslow, aged 31, of Gough Avenue, Wolverhampton, pleaded guilty to stealing £1590 from One Stop on Buffery Road in Dudley. He stole the cash between October 10 2019 and January 12 2020. He received a community order and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £1590 in compensation, a £90 surcharge and £185 in costs.

Ricardo Thoms, aged 42, of Parkfield Road, Wolverhampton, pleaded guilty to possessing a pocket knife in public at Dudley bus station. He received a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and was ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. The knife was destroyed and Thoms was ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £522.

Tomasz Jaraskiewicz, aged 37, of Ettingshall Road, Bilston, pleaded guilty to providing false documentation to withdraw money from another person's account in Dudley. He also admitted possessing a quantity of amphetamine. He was jailed for three months due to a record of previous offending and was ordered to pay a £122 surcharge.

Carolyn Whitworth, aged 39, of Shadwell Drive, Lower Gornal, admitted assaulting a paramedic. She received a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months due to it being an unprovoked attack along with homophobic abuse. The court also ordered Whitworth to pay £360 in compensation.

Keely Hancox, aged 18, of Grove Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to assault. She received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay compensation, surcharge and costs totalling £196.

Lewis Mayor, aged 19, of Yew Tree Road, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to possessing a baton on Leasowes Lane without lawful authority or reasonable excuse. He received a community order and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £190 in a surcharge and costs.
