HOMELESS people are set to be supported at two Christmas performances from a Blackheath choir.

A festive feast of music will be performed by Blackheath Central Community Choir at Blackheath Central Methodist Church this yuletide.

Neil Harris, from the choir, said: “This year we are supporting The Salvation Army William Booth Centre for the Homeless.

“This is very worthwhile cause and we would welcome as much support as possible.”

The choir’s first event will be a Christmas Carol Service on Monday, December 11, at 10.30am. Admission to the service is free and there will be a retiring collection.

The choir will also be performing a Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 16 from 6.30pm.

Tickets to the concert cost £5 and are available from choir members or from Blackheath Central Methodist Church office by calling 0121 559 1509.
