A CRADLEY Heath sixth form is throwing open its doors to prospective students next week as part of its annual open event.

Students who are due to start post 16 studies in September 2018 are invited to visit Ormiston Forge Academy on Thursday, December 7 to gain a taster of life at the academy’s sixth form.

Visitors will be able to see the variety of courses the academy has to offer students for life after year 11 from 5pm to 7pm.

Also in attendance will be a number of universities, The Access Project – who help students improve their grades and support their applications to university, and representatives from the school’s football scholarship programme.

Darren Grimes, assistant principal for key stage five, said: “We’re very much looking forward to prospective parents and students coming to visit us.

“Each and every student is important to us and we hope to enable them on the next stage of their journey.”

The event is open to current Forge students as well as external candidates.
