A HALESOWEN cosmetic surgeon has scooped a top prize at a showcase awards ceremony for the aesthetics industry.

Dalvi Humzah, who works for Colman Hill-based West Midlands Hospital, won the ‘Best Independent Training Provider’ award for the fifth consecutive year during a ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.

He was also commended for his collaborative work with the Medical and Aesthetic Training Academy in the ‘Professional Initiative of the Year’ category.

The Dalvi Humzah Training courses he delivers are assisted by aesthetic nurse and assistant tutor Anna Baker, who was also crowned ‘Aesthetic Nurse of the Year’.

Mr Humzah said: “This year has been phenomenal with multiple awards and it is an honour to be recognised consistently for the work that all the faculty within Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training do.

“This year we saw new training providers coming through and I hope that this will allow us to develop the speciality further.

“The awards highlight colleagues who are all doing a fantastic job in maintaining high standards and excellence in the industry.

“I am delighted to have won this award and even though I travel a lot around the globe, I’m proud to be based at West Midlands Hospital which is home for me.”

Organised by the Aesthetics journal, the awards are one of the premier events for the aesthetics industry and recognises excellence and the outstanding achievements of practitioners, surgeons and suppliers.
