AN Oldbury woman has denied killing music shop owner Tanveer Iqbal who was found in a car boot in Edgbaston.
Unemployed Zatoon Bibi, of Roway Lane, plead not guilty when she appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today.
The 36-year-old was sent for trial at Birmingham Crown Court and remanded in custody until Friday (February 12).
A 43-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Investigations are continuing into the death of 33-year-old Mr Iqbal, whose body was found in the boot of his car in Portland Road, Edgbaston, on Monday, February 1.
