FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a wild fire on an embankment today (Tuesday, July 24) near Severn Valley Railway in Kidderminster.
A crew was called for the land off Lisle Avenue at 5.23pm this afternoon.
This is not the first time the hot weather has caused trackside fires during the current heatwave.
Earlier this month, the attraction decided to temporarily stop running steam trains along the track for a week as a result of ash being emitted and landing on the dry ground.
