FINANCIAL advisers in Bromsgrove have teamed up with a local sportswear store to kit out its fundraising football team.

MacronStore West Midlands at Basepoint Business Centre has produced the new team kit for Bromsgrove's second largest employer AFH Group.

Shop manager Rob Clarke said: "Although we provide kit for Premier League and international teams, providing quality teamwear to local clubs, schools and businesses is very important to us at Macron.

"We allow customers to touch, feel and compare the kits in person, rather than viewing online.

"I’m delighted AFH chose us and knowing that the new kit will be used to help their local charity fundraising is especially pleasing."

The AFH financial adviser team’s first outing in their new strip was against Rybrook BMW Worcester on Friday, 5 October at South Bromsgrove High School.

In a hard-fought match AFH lost to BMW 4-0.

AFH player-manager Mark McCann said: “As a Bromsgrove business we’re proud of our roots in the town, so it was natural for us to look locally when we needed a football kit.

“We could have sourced kit from any number of internet outlets but we valued the face-to-face service and guidance Rob gave us.

"Our advisers come in a wide range of ages and shapes, so Rob’s bespoke approach to colours and sizing was much better than a generic online solution.”
