MEMBERS of the Malvern Buzzards trail-running group spent an hour of a recent meeting learning cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and how to use a defibrillator.
Malvern St John Ambulance provided the training at Malvern Library in Graham Road as part of the Restart a Heart campaign.
Simeon Foreman, club secretary, said: "The Buzzards hope never to have to use the new skills they have learnt but are pleased to be trained, so they will know what to do in a cardiac arrest situation and how to use first aid combined with a defibrillator to improve someone’s chances of survival."
Anyone interested in learning resuscitation techniques can contact the Malvern St John Ambulance unit on 07836 585088.
