PEOPLE from around the UK caught a glimpse of the future at the sixth annual Malvern Festival of Innovation this time last year.

The six day event offered a range of free activities, exhibitions and workshops including events for schools, business leaders and members of the public. Among the highlights was the launch of a weather balloon from the Three Counties Showground, watched by nearly two hundred students taking part in the Next Generation Innovators schools’ day. Upper atmosphere winds blew the balloon south faster than hoped and led to it being lost at sea in the English Channel.

Students were able to see the journey unfold in real-time with live telemetry to the exhibition centre. Another highlight was seeing Riversimple’s Rasa car parked at the Morgan Motor Company alongside classic Morgan models in the inaugural Automotive Advances symposium.
