THE town's high street market is offering a taste of Spain, France and Greece at a specialist three-day event.

From Thursday, October 25 to Saturday, October 27, visitors to Bromsgrove Market can sample Spanish paella, crusty baguettes, luxury French soaps and fresh baklava.

Markets manager Jonathan Smith said: "Specialist companies are attracted to Bromsgrove because of its status as an historic market town."

The continental market will run alongside the usual stalls.

Cllr Karen May, whose portfolio covers the town centre, said: "These specialist markets have proved very successful previously and have led to an increase in footfall on the high street.

“This is good news for our regular stall holders, traders and shoppers alike.”
