A KIDDERMINSTER Vegan Fair delighted more than a thousand people who came to sample products and learn more about the movement.

The Fair was held at the Town Hall on Sunday November 25, and featured a host of stalls, offering visitors vegan food samples, craft items, cookbooks and beauty products.

A number of regional animal rescue and protection groups also attended.

Kevin White, from Midlands Vegan Campaigns, who organised the Fair, said: "I'm delighted that so many members of the public came along.

"The popularity of the event just goes to show how an increasing number of people are interested in ending their consumption of animal products for the benefit of animals, the environment and their own health.

The Wyre Forest Vegans group held a stall at the event, and were also pleased at the success of the event.

Ronald Lee, Coordinator of the Wyre Forest Vegans group, said: "People were queuing to try our vegan food samples, and to take away vegan information and recipe booklets, and we signed up dozens of new members.

“It was even busier than Kidderminster’s very successful first vegan fair last year."
