SHOPPERS will be able to take advantage of free parking in the run-up to Christmas thanks to Malvern Hills District Council.
The council will be spreading some festive cheer by offering free parking in all of its car parks on selected days during December.
Visitors to the area will be able to park for free from midday on Saturday, December 1, 8, 15 and 22, and all day on Sunday, December 2, 9, 16 and 23.
The move has been introduced to help support traders during the festive season.
Cllr Bronwen Behan, responsible for car parking on the council, said: “The three towns will be going all out this year to attract visitors and shoppers and we hope that this concession will encourage everyone to get involved with what’s on offer.
“We‘re keen to support local businesses and understand the key role free parking has to play in bringing in extra trade during the most important time of the year for retailers.”
