STRUGGLING charities in Bromsgrove and Redditch are being offered a lifeline.
A special event to try and help struggling local charities meet funders and develop projects to help local communities has been set up.
Organised by Bromsgrove and Redditch Network (BARN), together with Redditch Council, it will be held at Redditch Town Hall next month.
Gary Roskell, from the group, said the event is vital for charities.
"It’s really tough for charities and community groups to raise funds for work that is vital to our local communities at the moment, and they need all the support they can get," he said.
"This event will let people speak face to face with lots of funders and attend workshops giving tips on how to write successful applications.”
The event is being held on March 19 in Redditch Town Hall from 10am to 2pm.
Entry is free but booking is essential, especially for the workshops run by some of the funders.
