SERIOUS injuries were caused in a two-vehicle crash yesterday.
Fire appliances from Kingsland and Leintwardine Fire Stations were called to the scene of the crash on the A4110 near Wigmore at 7.31am yesterday.
Fire crews released a person trapped inside one of the cars and made both vehicles safe.
"We were called to reports of a crash on the A4110 near Wigmore at 7.32am.
"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford with a Medical Emergency Response Incident Team trauma doctor on board attended.
"One man sustained serious injuries and received trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to Hereford County Hospital.
"A second patient suffered less serious injuries and was also taken to Hereford County Hospital for further checks."
