LONGBRIDGE Dining Club is returning to the town centre for 2019 with double the number of dates to try some of Britain’s tastiest street food.

This year’s mouth-watering series of dining clubs will kick off on Saturday, March 30, with award-winning traders including Baked in Brick, English Indian, Low ‘N’ Slow, Victoria Creperie and Platinum Pancakes. Visitors can also enjoy craft beers, drinks and entertainment throughout the day from 11am to 6pm with free entry.

As a taste of what’s on offer, Baked in Brick will serve its renowned wood-fired pizzas cooked in the hood of a converted Mini; English Indian fuses English and Indian dishes for an innovative take on classics like fish and chips; and Low ‘N’ Slow will offer Texan-style BBQ dishes including ribs, sausage and barbacoa.

Due to demand, the club is doubling its presence in the town centre this year, delivering two dining clubs a month from April through to August, and reaffirming Longbridge as a thriving destination to work, live and enjoy.

Jack Brabant, co-founder of Digbeth Dining Club, said: "Our residency in Longbridge in 2018 was a huge success and we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be making an appearance twice a month from April to August.

"We can’t wait to serve up nationally-acclaimed street food to people in Longbridge again and look forward to introducing new traders, flavours and more entertainment.”

Paul Haynes, centre manager of Longbridge Shopping Park, added: “Longbridge Dining Club is a great addition to the town centre’s shopping and dining scene and is another great reason for residents and people from further afield to come and enjoy a day out here.

"We’re very excited to be able to offer even more choice and hope people who live and work in Longbridge will come out and support these fantastic traders.”
