TRIBUTES have been paid to a dedicated doctor who has served Studley for more than 30 years.
After more than 30 years as a GP partner at the Pool Medical Centre, Dr Steve Walter will be retiring from general practice at the end of March.
A spokesman from the medical centre said: "He will be greatly missed by both his work colleagues and patients alike.
"He has had a pivotal role in providing health care services to residents of Studley surrounding areas, always having the patients best interest at heart."
There will be a book in reception for patients to write a good will message to Dr Walter, which will then be presented to him on his retirement.
The spokesman added: "We would like to thank him for his years of dedication and wish him the very best for the future."
Dr Walter will be starting a new role with the Royal College of General Practitioners.
