AUTHOR: Christine Large from Much Marcle with her new book, Down Sandy Lane
LEDBURY Books and Maps will host a book signing of "Down Sandy Lane", during the Ledbury Poetry Festival.
Local writer Christine Large's book is a collection of short stories, recalling her childhood growing up in the village of Ryton, near Dymock, and Ryton will ring a bell with poetry buffs.
Although Mrs Large's stories relate to her childhood days in Ryton in the 1940s and 50s following the Second World War, there was in the earlier part of that century a strong link with Ryton and the Dymock Poets.
The signing will take place on Saturday July 6, between 11am and 2pm.
