STAFF from a Worcester-based training firm are celebrating after winning their second Chamber of Commerce Business Award in a row.

ISO Quality Services Ltd, based in St John's, won their second Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Award in a row at a glamorous black tie event at Worcester Arena on July 4.

It was the second time in three years that the company had been shortlisted for the Excellence in Professional Services Award, having been pipped to the post in 2017.

Last year, the company won the Chamber’s Excellence in Customer Service Award and was also awarded a prestigious Princess Royal Training Award.

Jennifer Semini, MD, said: "We’re delighted to win the Excellence in Professional Services Award.

"Our team’s hard work and dedication has paid dividends: our already high customer satisfaction rates have increased still further and our turnover has exceeded £1 million for the first time this year.

"We’d like to thank the Chamber and the sponsors for giving local businesses, like us, this platform for recognition.

"Our potential customers find it reassuring that we are award-winning and it’s also a great boost for our employees."

Having had a tea party to celebrate its Princess Royal Award, and ‘paying it back’ by offering five free consultancy days to charities to mark the firm’s milestone £1 million turnover, the team will now have fun planning a way to mark this latest achievement.

ISO Quality Services is an independent organisation specialising in helping SMEs improve their businesses through the implementation of ISO and BS EN Management Standards. The team provides a range of services including certification, consultancy and training.

The Chamber of Commerce Business Awards look to celebrate excellence in business across the two counties, with 14 categories of awards for businesses to enter.

A Chamber of Commerce spokesman said: “The number of applications received this year exceeded expectations and were of an extremely high standard making this year the hardest to judge yet."
