WORCESTER Greenpeace volunteers were out in the city centre at the weekend promoting their latest campaign.
The volunteers were calling on people to encourage the government to put its full weight behind a strong Global Ocean Treaty, to create a network of ocean sanctuaries protecting marine wildlife from destructive industries.

John Allen, Worcester Greenpeace member, said: "It’s fantastic that many local people signed our petition to show their support for a strong treaty.
"We depend on our oceans for food, and to protect us from climate change."
The final decision on the treaty is expected at the United Nations in spring next year.
