THE Royal Enfield pub has officially re-opened following a whopping £790,000 revamp.
The popular pub, in Unicorn Hill, which first opened as a Wetherspoon in May 2010, has undergone a refurbishment project, including the addition of a new outdoor area, at the rear of the pub.
A new elevated decking has been created, on the site of the staff car park.
Accessed via summer opening doors, the area also has a new access lift.
Inside the pub, which has been completely redecorated, there is a new colour scheme and the bar area has been being upgraded.
A spokesman from the pub said: "Staff are extremely happy with how it has turned out. We Can’t wait for some summer days to have the place full."
Pub manager Gareth Firkin said: “Wetherspoon has spent almost £800,000 on the pub, providing further investment into the town."
