A BUS stop on a main Bromsgrove road will be removed at the end of August to make way for a brand new shelter.
The bus shelter next to the Vauxhall Garage and opposite the Crabmill pub on Birmingham Road will be removed on August 27.
It will be replaced with a new, upgraded stainless steel shelter and splash panels between August 29 and September 6.
The bus shelter will not be in use during this time.
Matthew Mead, senior engineering technician at Bromsgrove District Council, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents whilst the work is taking place and hope to get it completed as quickly and efficiently as possible so that the bus shelter can be back in use.”
