BRAVE ‘soles’ are needed to take on a fire walk for Primrose Hospice.

Fearless participants will walk across hot coals for the hospice to raise vital funds for the charity.

But first, they will be given training from an expert before taking part in the experience, at Hogarth’s Stone Manor Hotel.

Guests can also enjoy a live DJ and can purchase food and drink from the hotel on Bromsgrove Road, Kidderminster.

Emma Williams, fundraising manager at Primrose Hospice, will also be taking part in the challenge.

“This is going to be an incredible experience for everyone who has signed up to take part," she said.

“We always say people who fundraise for us really do go the extra mile but in this case we are asking them to go a few metres over hot coals.

“Don’t worry though, it is completely safe and we will be in very capable hands.

She added: “An expert will be on hand to show us how to do it safely and it promises to be a really uplifting and memorable evening."

Registration costs £30 with people taking part asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 for the hospice.

Primrose Hospice must raise £1.75million annually to keep its service free for people with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The fire walk is on Thursday, September 5.
