PEPPERPOT Players of Upton will turn into the Farndale Ladies (and a couple of gentlemen) for a spoof production of A Christmas Carol this October.
A spokesman said: "The Farndale Ladies are at it again. The middle aged, middle class group are trying their hand at the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol.
" Unfortunately not everything is going according to plan some of the cast are a bit late and some are not as nimble as they were but what the group lacks in talent they certainly make up for in enthusiasm!"
The spokesman added: "We invite everyone to come and celebrate the joys of Christmas (in October!) as the Farndale group attempt to pull off their most ambitious play to date with hilarious consequences.
"Tickets are now on sale now at Upton Launderette and we guarantee a night of laughs and fun.
"We will also be serving light Christmas themed refreshments at the interval and invite people to bring along your own drinks and glasses to really enjoy the evening."
