IT might be Much Ado about Shakespeare on the bill at Ledbury's Market Theatre, but there's won't be much kerfuffle about ticket prices, because tickets will be free.

Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society will be offering "an evening of fun, songs, parody and laughter at the expense of our greatest poet and playwright".

And it won't be at the expense of the audience, under a 'pay what you like' offering.

A spokesman said: "Tickets are free - just pay what you like on the night - but please call 07967 517125 to reserve a seat.

As a LADS spokesman points out, we all do our own little versions of Shakespeare

The spokesman said: "If you recall your salad days, and your lost property has vanished into thin air, you are quoting Shakespeare.

"If you won’t budge an inch, or have suffered from green-eyed jealousy; if you have played fast and loose, or been tongue-tied, hoodwinked or in a pickle, then you are quoting Shakespeare."

The dates for the diary are Friday October 18 and Saturday October 19, from 8pm.
