MORE than 100 belts, watch straps, and wallets have been stolen during a break in at a workshop in Hopwood.
It is believed that the offender or offenders had approached the location via nearby fields.
They originally tried to force open a UPVC door and when they were unable to they smashed the glass in the door and then climbed through and into the workshop area.
Once inside they stool a number of power tools along with more than 100 leather items including belts, watch straps, and wallets.
PCSO Mark Hyder, from the Alvechurch and Wythall Safer Neighbourhood team, said: “Unfortunately criminals don’t realise the impact crimes like this can have on a small business, this can have a serious effect on the business owner and their family, this is their livelihood.
"All items are stamped with an identifiable branding and logo (Barns & Moore) similar to those shown in the pictures. Anyone with any information is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number: 22/94827/19."
The burglary occurred sometime between Friday, October 4 and Monday, October 7.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting crimestoppers-uk.org.
