A LORRY overturned in a field after it left the road near Bromyard.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to reports of the incident in Avenbury at 11.30am yesterday (Monday).
A spokesperson for Bromyard fire station said they were called to reports of a lorry that had left the road and slipped down the embankment before turning over on to its side.
Firefighters broke the cab's windscreen to release the driver, and made the vehicle safe.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said one ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene of the crash.
The driver, a man, was assessed on scene for relatively minor injuries before being taken to Hereford County Hospital for further checks.
