POLICE are investigating an assault at Brickfields Park, Worcester.

A 35-year-old victim was assaulted by one man in his late teens to early 20s between 11.30pm and midnight on Sunday.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The offender had short blonde or brown hair, was 5ft 10ins, medium build, and wearing a Nike hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.

He made off towards the main road.

South Worcester CID's DC Laura Griffiths said: “We are appealing to speak to the witness who kindly walked the victim home. We feel they may have information that can support in the investigation."
