TODAY'S picture from the Worcester News archive dates back to August 1998, when interior designer Steve Robinson found part of the city's 12th Century wall in the cellar of his shop in Sidbury. The discovery was made when part of the shop's floor collapsed during renovations, and the stonework is believed to be part of the gate used by Charles 1 to sneak into the city during the Civil War.
