FLOOD defences are set to be deployed in Bewdley this afternoon (Wednesday, February 12) in preparation for Storm Dennis.
River Severn levels are forecast to rise in Bewdley due to heavy rainfall overnight, which is also set to hit this weekend.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said on Twitter that flood barriers at Severnside North will be put up today.
The tweet said: "Severn continues to rise. More rain overnight and a lot more to come this weekend thanks to #StormDennis."
Stourport and the B4195 Stourport Road also may be effected by flooding.
The river level at Bewdley is expected to peak around 3.7m tomorrow morning.
Flood barriers at Severnside North #bewdley will be going up later.
