HEREFORD city's street market has been cancelled after forecasters warned of high winds and rain this weekend.

A spokesperson for Herefordshire Markets and Events said they had taken the decision not to hold the regular Saturday street market, which takes place every week in Hereford High Town, on February 15 due to "ongoing severe wind and rain forecasts".

Following close on the heels of Storm Ciara, Storm Dennis is forecast to bring yet more high winds and heavy rain to Britain.
